In most 1920s-1940s Oakhurst, Winnona Park, and Lenox Place bungalows, the original heart pine or oak floors are worth saving even when they look rough. We come out and check the board thickness, the seam tightness, and how many times the floor has already been refinished. If there is enough wood left to sand, refinishing keeps the original character of the house and is almost always less involved than a full replacement. We will tell you if it is not the right call.
